Agree, just as these new consumers will compete for goods and services world wide, the US stock market is suffering from a current Supply crisis.

New technology is emerging from small cap companies at the equivalent of the late 70's and 80's when INTEL and the other Supercap techs began emerging. The Optical and Broad band wireless sectors are two that foretell major changes getting going now.

We are essentialy changing in data networking from an Electrical to an optical infrastructure. Some of the biggest companies across a number of areas are still making investments of capital in electrical infrastructure, these investments will prove to be mal investments in three to five years.

The energy economy is also percolating, the hydrogen vehicle is now very close, the oil market will boom for a few more years and then, watch out below.Solar is coming back, yields and efficiencies are rising rapidly making the solar component active in the energy equation.

Sharp eyes required in times of change.
