To all - GSTRF / G* bonds price movement thoughts : I have called for fresh quotes on the various G* bonds (in response to seeing GSTRF bounce up nicely). The bonds are doing NOTHING (so far). They are just hanging around 29 bid, 30 ask (roughly). This seems very strange, unless ... there is massive un-winding of previous short GSTRF / long G* bonds type positions. Anyone thinking of accumulating some G* bonds -- maybe do it right now. The bonds reached around 35 cents on the dollar during the previous (recent) rally in GSTRF (to only around $9) (and only briefly). Jon.
