Huey,

Intel and AMD are number one and two respectively in flash memory market share.
I seriously doubt Sandisk is in the top five.


As Art already replied, we are talking about the high-end, leading edge ultra-high density flash memory used in flash memory cards, not the low-end embedded commodity market.

As has been stated multiple times, Intel exited this market because it could not compete with SNDK. I don't believe AMD ever had a removable card product line.

Finally, as Eli stated, a good chunk of the flash card market is SanDisk's and a good chunk of the remainder are using SanDisk technology in some form or another. TDK and SSTI are hopefully just two companies on a list that is about to get substantially longer.
