I'm as anxious to find out as you are. Unusually low volume on this stock today. Less than 19K shares so far.

Like some others on the Yahoo board I tend to believe that the market is telling us something, and it may very well be as your intuition indicates.

I'll post anything I learn here just as soon as I find out, but I think the other sleuths are searching for info more feverishly than I.

Truth-
I called investor relations and spoke to somebody new who I'd never heard of before... and got nowhere. She limited her conversation basically to "Have you seen our press release regarding that?" She also spoke of a target depth of 3550 meters on b-1 and was completely unaware that they'd already passed that depth. Obviously I need to exercise the Bruce Vincent channel.

Let's see what Monday brings.
