Mephisto, OK, I guess Sun getting their CPU chips, chipsets, etc, from TI is less of a bottleneck than CPQ, DELL, IBM, HP, etc., getting all their server chips from Intel. Sun did say recently that they had supply constraints, but they were managing it fine, something like that.

most likely the author wrote his story under pressure. He had to finish it by a certain time, and his last few sentences were not as clear as they should be.

Sure, but half the fun in participating in boards like SI is jumping on them when they goof up. <g>
