I'll give you an experiement that kindergardeners can do, and maybe you can also. Go to the toystore and buy a gyroscope. Spin it, now try to turn it over. See how much more energy it takes to try to flip it's poles? Imagine if that gyroscope were as big as the Earth. Now imagine a gyroscope a half million miles in diameter, because that's what the earth-moon system is. Imagine the Earth & moon vaporizing if enough energy were applied to flip the poles. TP
