bp- I'm no CNBC fan, but they were late to this party and repeatedly said how weird this was that this wasn't halted already, and how the way the news was released made it look pretty bogus. This was different from their usual glee when the sky is falling.

In fairness...I cannot remember how this EMLX thing went down on CNBC...I had the TV on next to computer...but was not paying close attention to the reporting.

It actually caught my attention when CNBC announced the HALT. But...it was then that DAVE FABER said several times he noticed how "strange and odd" the press release seemed (as he was chatting to Joe Kernan)...someone else on CNBC, to their credit, added..."what is our (CNBC) responsibility in reporting this false press release?"

So...not sure how that played out on CNBC/TV in regards to the trades before the truth came out.
