I think the shorts count on the financial statements for their "announcements."

I think that the short are counting on the lapse time to another PO announcement rather than an announcement of a mishap. Of course, some of these characters may "engineer" an announcement like that hoax today with EMLX, a lot of people got hurt by those guys, in my opinion, the perpetrator should go and rot in jail. I am sure that the "nice shorts" in VLNC will never chose that option to achieve their end (g).
