And Intel is going with DDR for the Itanium FSB. Intel already went DDR with its AGP-2x bus. And AMD already has a DDR EV6 processor interface. It all depends on what your definition of ... uh, never mind. ;-)

My point is that embedded DRAM is very different from RDRAM or DDR SDRAM. It's about as different as VLIW/EPIC is from RISC or CISC.

This is good for Rambus. A higher royalty rate plus products that can be blocked by the ITC if necessary.
