I did see the movie version of Chariot of the Gods, but in general I had little interest in alternative theories. I didn't know that Edgar Cayce pronounced on the question of Earth's development. I do not know that you are right about critical thinking skills and fundamentalism, since fundamentalists frequently go into problem solving fields like engineering. Just because they hold some things sacred does not mean they cannot think generally. In any event, most of the attempts at promoting critical thinking I have seen in the schools are pretty dubious. (My son is in public school). A lot more actual information would be a good idea.......

I mean as a pop- quiz. It seems to me that most people ought to be able to pass it, even if only with a D.....

I like "Win Ben Stein's Money", and watch it on occasion. Did you know that Ben is a Republican, and writes for conservative publications? Also, he worked for Richard Nixon and went to Yale Law School with Bill and Hillary. He still loves Nixon, who was kind to him and his family (his father was Herbert Stein, Nixon's chief economist), and strongly dislikes the Clinton's, especially Hillary.........
