thanks catlady... i can see that my suspicions were correct. the period from 6/1 to 9/1 will be the slowest quarter since 1997... something less than or right around 500k posts

Hi CatLady, I followed a few of the responses to the post you linked. Fwiw I definitely reduced my posting significantly since February. In the 18 months to mid Jan I made @ 7,000 posts. Since then @50. The loss of Classic SI and certain other developments with SI were the specific, but not only, reasons I reduced my posting. It had nothing to do with market sentiment. I may be unique in that regard but it is anecdotal evidence in support of your hypothesis. I also notice that my friend Graystone has not posted since February.
