Rambi....

>>You accused me of labeling human nature as "evil" and suggested I try labeling it as "good" and I responded that I don't define it either way. We are not born GOOD or EVIL. Those are spiritual constructs that have nothing to do with the drives - the basic nature - we are born with.

How you got me sitting on a fence from that, or could have ANY idea how I approach life or people is beyond me.
But congratulations! You managed to be insulting AND presumptuous AND smug AGAIN!!!
It's a gift.>>

Relax. Please don't take it personally. I was making a point. Simply challenging your perception by sharing a point of view.

Saying that we are evil, good or just "in between" gives us a fence as well as two horses to bet on. It's like going to the crap table and trying to cover all the positions. There's no real commitment, faith or risk being expressed.

People want to see evidence of faith, trust, good energy and risk in others, but very few believe they have these good qualities within themselves.

The point is that we have the power to embrace good but we must first take the leap of faith the believe in the eternal nature of goodness is within all of us.

The world will continually challenge us to reflect/share or give up what is good from within us. We are either letting others take our energy or we are claiming it for ourselves to fully share freely with others.

The evil in this world can be our best teacher if we learn to accept, forgive and love it's nature. This is the same as saying "love your enemies." People we judge as evil can be the source for the greatest potential transformations. These folks need people who are willing to risk loving and believing in them.

Just judging and walking away doesn't make the world any better.

One last thing: I don't believe in fence sitting.

And finally, I am sorry if I offended you.

Peace.
