Neocon, What deeply disturbs me is the fact that Nixon and Clinton were not Impeached as in Removed from the Oval Office with not Resignations and no forgiveness. I feel the same way you do....I remember my Mothers disbelief when Nixon Resigned, This Country was as disturbed by Nixon as your generation is by Clinton..Social Mores were so very different then. The Sex Revolution was in its infancy. Lying to his wife and family deeply disturbed me. My late husband was apalled by Nixons planning such a disturbing Burglary and taping was a nightmare....

I do not believe many on this thread have any idea what Nixon's behavior did to my generation. My deepest disturbance was the fact that Pat Nixon had a stroke during this nightmare and spent a night without calling the Doctor;-(Remember I am an "old woman" jla said so ;-) Compared to my Mother I am still a young chick' lol
