Do not misunderstand me, at random intervals I experience infrequent eruptions of levity. After all, if one fails to master the facility to amuse oneself, one becomes stodgy no less. Colloquially, being stodgy is equivalent to ranking upon the bottom rung of the social stratum, engaging in the most trivial of social discourse, acquiring a baser aptitude for social graces.
