I took a nice loss on this today due to the hoax. I didn't sell until I "confrmed" the news on Briefing.com. In hindsight, I should have called EMLX or checked their site but I didn't. I've never done that for any other company who's news makes Briefing. If I hadn't seen it there, I would not have sold. My order got executed just 5 minutes before being halted. Just my luck.

I called my broker but I think I'm out of luck. I didn't understand Nasdaq's "negotiate with your broker" comment. For others in the same boat, please post any useful information with regards to legal or broker action that might result from this hoax.

I feel like I've been robbed. My thoughts to those in the same boat.

Some people just don't think before they act. Think of how many people's dreams got crushed today. Maybe saving for college, vacation, home, whatever. This hoax affected many other stocks as well. SEC and news wires (briefing, bloomberg) need to do a better job. Painful lesson to learn as an investor.

Best of luck - JB
