Chris, Oh, yeah. Boston Scientific is an old time favorite. Go look at a 10 year chart and when you see those low prices in late 1993 during the Bilary mess, that was when I was loaded to the gills with it. Made big bucks, though I sold it too soon due to the fact that I didn't like so many takeovers, which did come back and bite them eventually. I've also owned puts from time to time, but have not fared well with those. My timing on the put side seems to be syncopated to the market. I like the stock here, and I think that the roughing up of eps because of takeover shenanigans is in the past. Classy outfit if they can manage their far flung divisions.

I bought a first third of CPQ puts today. Yes, the price is still paltry compared to when it was over $60 and eps were going to grow to the Moon. But this very poorly run scam-a-thon is pricey enough here to give it a go. I am giving IBM the hairy eyeball, but I'm lost on Gateway right now. Their accounting is so fake that I can't figure out when they'll have to fess up.
