Madonna is liberal and most likely voted for Clinton and will most likely vote for Gore....are you putting 2+2 together yet? Yes you are correct that the Madonna types and hollywood types and the irresponsible athlete types are influencial on the impressionable and uneducated folks....btw, don't most of these vote democratic as well? hmm, . .

Alex, I believe that the office of the President had been looked up to as a hero by many until the current occupant came in and destroyed the image. I find it hard to compare musicians and athletes to the highest office in the land. We can vote with our dollars in the case of the musicians and athletes, but once the President is in office, he can, as this one has, make life miserable for many. The sad thing in this situation is that most of his supporters are too ignorant to realize that they have been the losers in the long run, remaining on the bottom rung and mired in poverty. When you talk to the people, yeah, maybe a third have it pretty good, but a heck of a lot more are living from paycheck to paycheck. Algore's plan to match the saved $1 with 3 from the Gov't is such a joke. If you're a single parent with kids making 30K a year, sorry pal, you ain't saving jack. You're struggling to feed your kids if you're worth a crap as a parent. With the type of partisanship demonstrated by the Democrats, who wouldn't even consider the evidence, even though they were required by law to do so, they should all be thrown out. I would never vote for any federal politician who did not vote to convict in the impeachment trial. That is why I will vote for McCollum for Senator this fall, as well as Bush for President.knc
