Nor do they address the ancient Indian writings of a super-civilization that destroyed itself in nuclear war. Several years ago, while building new suburbs in a Northern Indian city, the remains of a very ancient city was uncovered. It is radioactive. FT

Gould (and Ethridge) doesn't explain sudden extinctions Of course it does, sudden extinction is the result of extra-ordinary events, like a comet hitting the Earth but for other reasons too. or how an advanced Bronze Age civilization collapsed so completely it became legendary. Is this about Atlantis? That's been pretty much figured out for 20 years. It was a volcano, and "Atlantis" was the island of Santorini. Who can know for sure, but it fits the major legends. (Hint.. Atlantis under Antactica does not fit the legends or possibility). TP
