I have read those books, and I agree he has a strong case. There is current controversy about apparently caucasiod skeletons dating to the ice age found in America. I personaly believe that people the world over were on the move during the last ice age. After all, when the population increases, you either learn to adapt, fight, or move on. I think all three happened over and over again.
