When I think of Cree, my fascination is with blue lasers that will allow 4X the amount of information to be stored on CDs or DVDs, not replacement lights for the lamp in garage. Of course, there are some lights that are so costly, or nearly impossible, to replace that a solid state bulb replacement would be a value even at today's costs.

As far as I'm concerned, cree is still pre-Chasm, but their future looks more appealing every day. I don't own any cree either, but I'm guessing I will down the line.
