You're right Scumbria, one of my assumptions may be incorrect but one thing is for certain, AMD can not have good yields while also doing significant wafer starts for K7s. Either yield sucks or AMD isn't trying to make very many. I'll concede that. Either way, the output of K7s from their two large fabs is very low, based on AMD's own projections and the fab capacity in wafer starts per week. Anyway, I'm off to catch a plane. EP
