I'm afraid I don't know anything at all about Bill Gates, outside of my sphere of influence I don't worship any idols. I will say in defense of Bill Gates he is being forced to justify his existence via altruism because he is the most innovative man of the last 100 years. Justify to who? To the professional victims with their hand out for a dollar in your altruist example. He of course should be punished physically as well and if his ego is detected to be larger than average his brain should be removed so it does not replicate. The Russian school would say "things are learned by an accidental process, a model is built and a formula is followed and that is science, no one can own it or take credit for it." If you take credit for it you are an evil egoist. The Russian outlook, capitalist or communist has no regard for life or individualism. Ultimately with you and FS it seems to come down to faith and faith always comes down to force. The good old "I can't prove it but I feel it's true" syndrome is responsible for more human misery than your altruism.
