Rsurckla, re: your confused buddy
Is he saying the 32MB single chip is for the internet set-top box? (Which the Samsung site clearly says it isn't). Actually 4MB DRAM. (32Mb, Don't think Samsung makes any RDRAM like that).
sem.samsung.com
Or is it for the "Sealed PC?" (Which Eminian says will use multiple chips). Look's confused to me. <G>
BTW, I don't think Samsung would lie, nor would I ever accuse them of lying. I think they're speculating they can have a $200 throw away PC in time for the 2001 holiday season.
Maybe you'd like to explain what he meant by, "32Mb memory CHIP (not chipS, but a single CHIP). Only RMBS baby. Only RMBS. Nobody else can do those king of things but RMBS."
So, was he referring to the Internet TV or the Sealed PC?
Also, you should now know that Samsung makes 32MB SDRAM and DDRSDRAM chips in 32X8 or 16X16 configurations. Look's like it's not just Rambus chips to me.
TIA
