OT: Omnisky IPO? Maybe - I'm not a big IPO player, I prefer to give them a month or two to settle down. Palm was an exception because of the buy in route via COMS at the IPO offering price or less. If I could get a big block of some of these things at the IPO price, of course I'd play! Nearest I got was a small allocation of FFIV at the IPO price, too small to have much effect on net worth, but fun nonetheless.

But the COMS investment holding point is interesting, no? Maybe it's time to try to recompile all of COMS venture capital holdings, since their true value is not reflected on the books until they sell and realize the gain - at least that's my understanding. Certainly I don't see $375 million worth of AETH there.
