Re: USA MSO Stats - Top 100 Monster List

Thread- Here's a list of MSOs(cablecos) in the USA and their sub count. MediaOne is now part of ATT so that really makes ATT the king with about 17,000,000 subs. Time Warner should be number two with about 12,000,000(maybe 13 million?). I just picked this off one of the cableco news sites but don't recall which one.

As you can see Time Warner was broken into two companies. I have never heard of this before and do not know what it's about.

If you add up all the subs, I've read they should come in around 70 million. Somewhere around there. I read figures running between 67 million up to 77 million. I think the 77 million could include Canada. I'm just not quite sure.

Keep in mind, that North American MSO subs are only about 1/4th to 1/3rd of the world total. I picked up this from my TV land stats(http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=14172058) -MikeM(From Florida)
