Morning Greg:
Re paring stocks
I plan to go with the following in attempt to get
LT holdings- but still most will get traded at some time or other.
Brcd,cpn,Dyn,emc,emlx,flsh,glw,nt,plcm,sdli,sebl,smtc,and sunw.
Eliminate the aol, duk, intc, msft, orcl, phg, and ttc and txn.
Dell may be in deep trouble in November in regard to revenue. Reading the quarterly reports (manpower listed near the end) shows they actually reduced manpower from Feb to May, so only have 1300 more employees at end of July than at end of Jan. So how do they grow 30% in product?
I cannot afford to have it drop farther when faced with October coming soon. Its poor performance has forced me to trade too much merely to 'stay alive' so I lost my "free"(1 or 2%/yr) trading privelege at MSDW- but its still a great program for buy-and hold stocks.
Regards
Sig
