Dave, Carl's original comment was "The rumors of a new memory translation unit are an indication that i840 is going to begin shipping with SDRAM around 1Q01." Those rumours (a new MTH) abounded a few months ago. They may well be true. Carl took it one step further and applied the rumours to the i840, which is not a totally unreasonable thing to do. (Where else would a new MTH go?) Carl generally presents far more accurate information than several of the longs, who appear to be almost completely unbounded by the truth. Scumbria
