He has become a slum lord. I assume it is on his own. However, it could be an inheritance from his father. He sure treats the poor like trash though. Actions speak louder than words. Oh, and he has a ton of Occidental stock. That is an oil company. I believe the stock was given either to him or his father by Armand Hammer, a man with strong ties to Russia. Yes, he has done better than Clintons one venture into the private sector with Whitewater. But, most people would be ashamed to be a slumlord like Gore. And, even though I see nothing wrong with it for most, because of his stance he is a hypocrite for owning Occidental while bashing the oil companies with his rhetoric.

It's good that you can look the other way and pretend that special interests don't influence American politics, and could have negative impacts against American families.
