Re: As hard as software development is, it's easier than developing reliable hardware IMO (that's one reason why I develop software and not hardware :) until you start dealing with poorly designed multi-threading software (like Windows for example).

Someone I know was telling me that Windows is more crash prone on Intel systems than AMD systems. The erata list is 2 for the Athlon and 43 for the Pentium. Do you think there could be any truth to this, or is it just dumb luck that my friend is seeing? Regardless, I know Windows is a terrible OS.
