James, I wouldn't "log on" to see EMLX down 40. I do this full time and watch the market from pre-mkt to close, so that wouldn't be an issue here. But perhaps in the future I'm sure I will be duped. But I've traded wrong in the past... been pump & dumped (yes, even me <for those that know me>), traded wrongly off of rumours, etc... and in the end, I learned to just shut my mouth, take my lumps, and move on. That would be my suggestion to anyone that got burned on the emlx thingy... do your best to move on... take the stock off your screens and give up following it.

as far as compensation, the only thing I could see here would be suing the individual(s) that created the fake pr and I assume profited from it. Of course, first they have to be caught, and then, if they really have any money, it will be tied up for years in the courts as the shareholders that sold attempted to recoup the money.
