um, the website clearly states all over the place that it is, indeed, run out of MIT, the university--hence the name. Apparently it is a recent re-launch of a once-venerable tech magazine originally started in 1899. It was nominated for a National Magazine Award "General Excellence" prize last year, which is no mean feat; the press clippings below suggest it is getting a good reputation quickly: techreview.com me, this is the first I've seen of it, but since I'm one of the technomorons around here, that doesn't mean anything. tekboy/Ares@myhauntswereabitfurtherupriver.com
