Mr. Cummings: Now you're resorting to the "love it or leave it" argument for people whose views differ from your own. Very original. Maybe you can tell Peggy Noonan about it. No, don't blame me for posting here. This is the "George W. Bush" thread. It is not the "George W. Bush/positive opinions only" thread. If you wish to relabel the thread, then send an e-mail to the SI Web mistress. If you find my "Hall of Shame" posts too tough to stomach, then just don't read me. Regarding the public vs. private school argument: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Jimmy Carter was the only president or veep in recent memory to send his kids (in this case, just one, Amy) to a public school. You will get no argument from me that inner-city schools across the country, not just in D.C., have major problems. The voucher argument is not the answer to this problem, though.
