I own Brocade and Broadcom, and am up significantly this year on them. They are not as volatile as they look, because they both trade in the 200 range. Brocade had a sympathetic move Friday with EMLX, and you don't own these two, at these prices, if you are a nervous type.

It is pretty obvious that the Fibre channel, optical, and storage areas are going to be the big money areas for investors they next couple of years, even more so than wireless, IMO.

Because of the enormously high PE's on these stocks, any kind of rumor will be a short term roller coaster for us.

Well, enough of this for the evening. I just got back from 4 hours of Dancing at the Coconut Club and the Derby. It is almost 1AM, and the weather here makes the view from my deck tonight outstanding. Lets see how much of the new Clancy I can get through before I bed down.

Re: EMLX

CEO stated on Friday that things were on track for yet another record quarter would be able to bounce off of that bogus press release filled with fraud and recover to calm the panic button pushing crowd. If not, a similar type of "financial terrorism act" could just about hit any equity that we own in our portfolios.

With EMLX down 6 on a day when NAZ is up 50 indicates that the fraud/hoax is in fact having an effect on the stock.

Maybe investors beleive there 'may be' 'some' truth to the hoax and we know how investors/traders hate uncertainty.

Good time to buy a shiny pebble???

Is there ever a good time to buy a shiny pebble??
