lakeoffice1 RE: "With a name like bobber, does this imply that you are a fisherman?"

Funny you should ask. As a kid growing up, I used to ride my bike 7 miles across town to fish in a local lake that had a real nice bass and crappie population. Spent my nights sneaking into a local private golf course to fish the stocked bass ponds. It was a hunt club prior to being a golf course and the local bankers that were members of the hunt club wanted to have a nice private place to fish where they could always catch something. It was by far the most awesome fishing anyone could ever experience. 3-5 lb. Largemouth Bass were very common....

Then, guess what? At the age of 22 and newly married I became deathly allergic to fish. No joke. I was eating Walleye one night and my throat swelled shut. Severe enough, in fact, that my wife rushed me to the hospital emergency room. A few more minutes of wondering what was going on and I probably would not be typing this today. I have since had to quit fishing as my hands swell up from handling them and I hate wearing rubber gloves....Such is life.

Anyway, my first name is Bob (Robert..technically) and the nickname "Bobber" was placed on me somewhere in my teens by friends and my 3 brother-in-laws. Been stuck with it ever since.....Most web sites with handles seem to have the handle "Bobber" taken, so I add the "1234" part as a reminder to me to follow the K.I.S.S. principle on a daily basis..

Are you familiar with K.I.S.S.?

Later....

Bobber
