I get the feel that MSFT is ready for a breakout to upside any day now. Stock is worth between 55 to 65 PE or between 95 to 105. Here are more reasons:

.Legal victory at Baltimore court on civil case (37 of them)
.Case sent to appeals court
.Allen stops selling (He must be almost done by now)
.MSFT buys some 100 million
.Mutual funds start buying to get % holdings back up to prior levels

What would it take for MSFT to break out of ~82 resistance?

Could we gather our synergies here and jot-down a few of the reasons that we can think of, that will make MSFT price shoot-off beyond the recent resistance ~82?

As a start, a few comments:
(1) Post-Labor-day volume surge will help it break it.
(2) Windows2000 sales numbers will help it break it.
(3) Future +ve expectations at the earnings time this quarter, will help it break it!
