First, Livingston was expected to resign when knowledge of this was leaked. Nevertheless, he was a good legislator, well liked by his colleagues, and it was a classy way to go. The fact that you cannot understand the difference between Livingston's class and Clinton's crassness in holding onto office alarms me......

Any Republican worth his salt would have said to the weenie Livingston: "Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out."

As would any Democrat worth his salt to Clinton.

BTW, Livingston resigned and spared us all the spectacle of another Clintonesque drama. JLA
