Like them or not, Gartner and Meta are the two most listened to consulting groups for enterprise IT systems.

I really dont want to get into it, its now just a bad dream but my recollection was that Yardeni and others yelled fire and Gartner and other respected groups (including the US GOVERNMENT) lent authenticity to it all. As it turned out I should have listened to the Japanese, they didnt do anything and far as I know, they are still functioning. JDN
