Some people talk of worn themes and this and that, but part of poetry is alluding back to others, and keeping the story going. That I find very exciting. Poets keep the story
of our world, beings, and hearts going, renewing it over and over.


Beautifully put, chooseanother. Naturally, I agree wholeheartedly. A true poet does not repeat an old theme; he/she renews it. For that matter, some themes never grow old (love & death, for example).
