Watson,

The salesman told me they received 110 parts from Intel which were sold out the first day they were offered.

I hope that the parts were more functional than the ones sent to several reviewers.

Interesting about the situation. I am just wondering if AMD did the same as you did, poking around for the real situation. If they did, I believe their recent price reduction was a mistake as this 'paper launch' may spark the demand for faster system and since Intel cannot provide the parts, their high speed Athlon can easily slip in so why bother to lower the price ? Just make it at parity to what Intel offer and cash in all those profit.
