<<There are people who want to die who are not morbid. >>

When Paul dies, the preacher will say

There lies the shell, the nut passed away

"Attitude check"

When my life is over and my death has come to pass

I hope they bury me upside down so the world can kiss my ass.

Well, my Grandmother at 95 didn't "want" to die, but she didn't want to live the way she was living- basically gasping for breath. But she really really didn't want to die. My dad, after his open heart surgery went bad- didn't want any more treatment- he was tired of the millions of invasive things they were doing to him- but he didn't "WANT" to die- he wanted another option- something other then pain or death.

I haven't know anyone- push come to shove- who went willingly. I suppose some people went unconsciously- like my grandmother who died in her sleep. But that doesn't really count. I don't count choosing the lesser of two evils as "wanting". And I've never met anyone who said - "Oh boy HOWDY, I just can't WAIT to die!" Those folks might be out there- I just haven't met them.
