Almost like I had something to do with it. He went into a comma and I stayed overnight. The rest of the family went home. Jeez, the nurses were great, made sure I was ok. He woke up a little after midnight and we talked, guy to guy like. Not father to son. Just after breakfast we were watching a Dr. Kildare movie and his aneurism broke. I held his hand while he died. Well fuck, I forgot where I was going with this and it probably didn't matter. Ok,I was there, got a little upset and got over it. May have dreams tonight about it because I remembered it. Odder yet. My mother had a sensitive plant for 10 years. 6 days after my father died she went to the hospital. 3 months later she died but... the sensitive plant she had all those years and hadn't bloomed, bloomed the night she died and it died.
