UnBelievable:

Well, we all make mistakes or are misled by wrong info. I made a mistake myself:

So there are in fact a small number of shares (7.5 million total maximum) coming out from under lockup agreement this week after all. Whether 3Com/Palm directors/officers or AOL/MOT/NOK will be inclined to sell is doubtful IMO, but they may, and if they do, it may have some effect on PALM's stock price. But it's a small number in comparison to the daily trading volume. July's short position (before the distribution of 532 million PALM to COMS shareholders) was 39 million, but a chunk of that was arb players who presumably covered from their PALM distribution. I haven't seen an August short position yet, but my guess is it's well under 39 million.

Hopefully no confusion resulted from all this.

David T.

Shorted WAVX @ 21 1/8. the POS has a 1 billion dollar cap and just blew a cnbc appearance and a pr campaign last week. No earnings/revenues or deployed product. Could go to 14-16 by end of week
