Abortion is a very deeply felt , soul-wrenching issue... With you I would agree. Nowhere have you seen me post here that i am in favor of abortion. And nor shall you , for i think that it is an issue that completely transcends any one political administration , has been raging within all hearts in this society for years. I think it requires a great deal more debate and dialogue, and soul-searching ongoing. In every forum town and state....widened to include all the clergy and faiths as well . It is a very great & supreme issue, that goes beyond boundries of policy and politics. The definitons of what is "prescribed" moral behavior, sexual practices, must take into account much more than the graphic picture you paint of Homosexuality (Penises in Anuses) ...Can people have healthy relationships, long and loving in same~sex pairings? You bet they can. Not any more or any less than your hetero "ideal" picture . Can they be productive , creative , decent hard working members of our society? Yes they can and do. Can they parent every bit as responsibly as any hetro-sexual couple providing a safe , intelligent, disiplined home, meeting a child's needs? Yes they can and do. It will never happen in this world or it's distant future that such a view as yours will ever take root and grow, as much as you Hate the concept....that's a reality you are going to have to live , or die hating. --------> There is no room in our society for the stamping of such a seal of approval over the private practices of others , between consenting adults, not condemned by law and deprives no other person of their rights and freedoms. I'm afraid you paint to "liberally" with that brush , for me to think you credible either. You are dwelling to much for the sake of sensationalism on the graphic aspects ,of "penis in anus", for me to take you seriously. The tremendous majority of the most horrificly vilolent and dispicable of crimes of Murder and Rape and Mayhem, are commited by your well adjusted hetrosexual males on drugs , tobacco and alcohol...white black whatever. Family disputes are the most dangerous calls that endanger a policeman's life on the job. What percentage of "family disputes" do you think that wind up killing a police officer involves homosexual couples? If they are as dangerous as you say? And when was the last time you saw a homosexual gun down an abortion doctor or blow up 300 people in a federal building, or commit a mass murder??? I am not pushing the furthering of homosexuality in this society...just pointing out that your use of it as a weapon of hatred for a political party, or a method to gain public support is out of the boundries of the real issues at hand...and just plain "out~of~bounds", period. So , leave the sexuality of people out of the debate. Though I can appreciate your views. If we can save those 1 1/2 million babies , lets do it ! But lets not kill them later with our phoniness and hypocrisy's and habitual, ritualistic hatreds, and that are far worse than the sexual practices you would describe. It is just such passing of fear, hatred, intollarance, sensationalism....and the thinly veiled threat of violence to any that transgress your law of what is right ....from father to son....that is the true destroyer of the vitality of an evolving free society.
