As a veteran of many tapeouts, launches and product introductions, I would rate the Willy demos as being near the bottom for credibility.

How did you rate the 1.5 Gig demo intel did few months ago? I remember most of us having the same kind of reaction that the one we have now about the 2 Gig...

I know that this reasoning is getting more and more likely to be wrong as the CPUID "score" get closer to it's theoretical limit, so seeing a 2GHz P4 (.18 mu) in 4-5 months is not as likely as seeing a 1.5 P4 GHz in October was when the 1.5 was demoed...

But anyway, as an investor, I'm paying attention to this demo. I have also another scenario to consider : P4's IPC is at a K6-level and Intel noise about it's scalability to compensate.
