AJ, you really think the average speedster hasn't done a statistical analysis of their probability of saving time? Even an intuitive one [like "If I go really fast, I'll get there quickly but I better slow for wet corners"].

I recall a Walt Disney short cartoon about Goofy as a car driver. All nice, polite and how-de-do at the office. Then, he got behind the wheel and his face changed to a maniac and he drove like an aggressive wild man. It really was good and I suppose will appear in cyberspace one day.

That doesn't apply to the average person tooling along the freeway in the crowd though. They are just filling in time and wanting to save some of it.

But what you wrote has more than an element of truth.

PS: Tarken has a paintball gun, which I suspect has been used for shooting speed cameras. He's too gentle-natured to fire at wayward drivers who would probably just be looked on as sad cases to be tolerated. You could use a paintball gun! Or a raw-egg launcher, which is on my to-do list to patent.
