Krishnamurti>> Karma: These fences which divide us ensure that opinions and ideas protect us from having to face our failure to embrace or own unlimited internal nature, spirit, energy. When we fail to "let go", forgive ourselves and accept our vertical/spiritual nature we are essentially "at war" with our real selves. This war is fueled by one thing: FEAR. Fear that we'll have to face this truth. Fear that others will find out. Fear that someone else outside of ourselves will find/get more than we, etc. Hence the need for a growing list of distractions, diversions and conveniences. Much of what we refer to as mondern society has become a carny of distractions and diversions - always taking us away from the silence within us. "Security" has been defined with temporal anchors that have nothing to do with love, light or our unlimited spiritual nature. Social Security is really nothing more no less than a con - a pyramid scheme - which "we" have bought into, hook, line and sinker. There really is no "security" in this world - ie. this horizontal, quid pro quo, dog eat dog paradigm of fear that "WE" have all bought - hook line and sinker - which passes for this world. REAL security can only be found in our hearts and souls through embracing risks which build relationships from helping and serving others unconditionally. The world is scared to death of RISK. WE are scared to death of LOVE. This is the lie that the power of "WE" sold us and all it takes is ONE person to buy the lie - ie. the corruption - for the rest to follow. Sex in the City - which I have not watched - is perhaps just another example of a growing number of anthems in this parade/chorus. Individuals refusing to take REAL risks while wanting to have it both ways if they dare to do anything, period. If a relationship doesn't work out the way "they" wanted then it was "his/her" fault. We are living through a transformation where this culture of "blame" and shame is rubbing against a growing and rising undercurrent of REAL risk where individuals are stepping out, letting go and discovering the timeless value, power and energy of their unlimited inner nature. The more individuals learn the value of risking, helping and serving unconditionally while taking total responsibility - ie. NOT playing the "blame game" - the more these fences of security - our personal opinions, ideas, etc. - which we are clutching/holding onto will fall. Whenever and wherever you don't find risk you will find corruption. Corruption is the antithesis of risk. It's billions of individuals standing on the shoreline afraid to take a risk for someone/somewhere/sometime has convinced them that the answer and truth and meaning is somehow "out there" in the form of the right person, program, job, money, materials, leader, whatever. It's a joke to watch our two "political" parties duke it out over a prize when all the winner will do is fall into a bigger black hole. Our answers are not tied inside religion, professors, Presidents or political parties. All our answers are within us. We just need to learn the empowered value of taking more risks which will enable more of us to jump into this great, magnificent River of Life with all of these wonderful and many blessings to be thankful for. Heaven IS on earth right now!!! We just aren't seeing and believing it. Why? Because we've been convinced by the forces of fear and power that heaven cannot exist here and that we are all separated divided from one another. This is the baldfaced lie that's being exposed right now all over the world. Forgive me if this sounds like preaching. Every individual has the freedom and power to risk ministering to others by sharing ideas, energy, etc. Folks that judge this process may be convinced that either I am crazy or have some "hidden agenda." I understand but really don't care, for that's life and this is "me." Peace. .
