Perhaps Oil Was A Bad Example

I don't think it got up to $80 or $90 though. Perhaps bread at $10 a loaf would have been a better example.

Allen, that was wen the US currency was worth the paper printed on.

If I would take a page from other Banana Republic stock markets UB may be right stock markets will advance with inflation as the currency will lose credibility.

IMHO the US with their huge trade deficit and manipulation of official government statistic crossed the line into a Banana Republic.

The sad think in my view will be that they will blame the Jews for the fall of the dollar and the huge pile of debt, as they did in Germany over 70 years ago wen the then DM went worthless.

They will right in part as Greenspan, Summers, Rubin and Cohen et_al had no business in propagating this bubble even if they executed the orders of others to maintain them in political power.
