Manfred,

re worker eductation

IMHO the average european worker IS better educated than US.

This is particularly true at lower tech levels and production levels.

The US overalls has very wide ranging education levels.

The worst is that there have been college graduates who it has been learnt can not even read (certain us sports athletes)!!!!

The best in US is simply the best.

Anyhow enuff OT,

regards,

Kash

Manfred, yes, I usually keep OT to the weekends. Some low end assembly operations in the USA can use chimpanzees. In fact assembly lines do this. They suit the person to the job, and so as Kash says there is a very wide range in the USA because so many kids are premitted to drop out that in Europe get streamed into some kind of apprenticeship programs.
So enough OT for now.
