NPR = widespread liberal media outlet.

Why would they 'bite the hand that feeds'?

I find it hilarious that some find them 'objective'. I personally think this perception exists because most of the people on NPR speak in a low, calm tone, with lots of sighing.

But, you're talking a media were one person happens to dominate. What about this: Name a conservative wide circulation newspaper. The ratio is wide spread slanted to the left. Each morning the large majority of the US has a daily rag delivered to there driveway thats liberal. A large portion of the US still watch one of the major news networks PRIMETIME national news. Even in cable doesn't Larry King dominate, the Clinton News Network not to mention the twit:Heraldo (sp?). The reporting news media is by definition supposed to be unbiased, they are not. Rush Limbaugh is not a news person. So the argument is very valid.

Theres Tom Leykis and Jim Hightower. I don't think they have much of an audience, though.
