You must get pretty sore after you soar off of those faces....

Good point Scott.

But not as sore as someone who saws of his face while soaring down the side of a mountain...

*Edit I was going to delete this one because of it's sheer stupidity and lame attempt to cause a smile.
However, I didn't want Dealie to get sore at me for Deleting my post after she already saw it.

<I did some good hard face climbing and am now just a tad bit soar.>

Ha...well, I did take a couple of nice falls, but thats what good gear is for.

Face climbing is very technical. Featurless rock, slightly overhung. Hand holds and foot holds are called "crimpers", meaning you are trying to use a handhold the size of a small pebble. This is a very techincal and physically demanding type of climbing. You dont find any resting places, and with one of the key concepts in climbing being only use the muscle you need at the moment, in order to conserve energy, you find yourself glued to the wall with every muscle in your body pumped. You reach the point where you are so pumped, even if you found a huge bomber hold your whole hand could grab, you wouldnt have the strength to even touch it......

anyway.......climbing is an addiction and I cant think of a better one to have.
